The upper inscription reads: \u201cIn celebration of Lady Clara Ho Tung\u2019s establishment of Tung Lin Kok Yuen, wishing boundless joy upon its completion.\u201d The lower inscription states: \u201cRespectfully composed by Fang Yangqiu on the Buddha\u2019s birthday in the 24th year of the Republic (1935, Year of the Pig).\u201d The poem is written in regular script (Kaisha), accompanied by two seals: a white-text seal in the upper right reading \u201cGuard oneself like jade\u201d and a red-text seal in the lower left reading \u201cFor eternity.\u201d<\/p><p>The poem ingeniously incorporates the four characters \u201cTung Lin Kok Yuen\u201d at the start of each line.
